چکیده

The lateral material distribution of laser-deposited YBa2Cu307_ ,~ films and the density of droplets coming from the target were studied by varying the laser pulse energy, the laser spot size and the target-to-substrate distance. Silicon wafers at ambient temperature were used as substrates to guarantee a large sticking coefficient of the particles. The deposition rate is found to depend linearly on the laser energy density E and quadratically on the spot size S at the target, whereas the droplet density is slightly dependent on E and increases linearly with l/S, yielding a threshold energy of 0.9 J cm -2. With a laser spot size of 7.15 mm 2 and a laser energy density of 1.2 J cm2, we were able to reduce the number of droplets to one to two per 500/zm 2 for a high quality high T~ film with a typical thickness of 100 nm.

Thin films of barium ferrite with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy produced by laser ablation deposition

Barium ferrite thin films with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy have been prepared on heated (001) sapphire substrates by laser ablation deposition in an oxygen atmosphere using a KrF excimer laser. X-ray diffraction patterns reveal highly oriented films of the magnetoplumbite phase with a c-axis angular spread of 1.8”. Scanning electron micrographs reveal that these films are polycrystalline ...

New Sol-Gel Solution with 45 Days Stability for Preparation Silica Thin Films

As we know sol-gel is one of the most important techniques for thin film preparation. In this paper, high transmission silica thin films have been prepared by dip-coating process from a new silicon-alkoxide solution. The prepared sol was stable for 45 days which is very important to characterize the coating process. The optical properties as a function of aging time, withdrawal rate, and he...

Characterization of nanostructured SnO2 thin film coated by Ag nanoparticles

Nanostructured SnO2 thin films were prepared using Electron Beam-Physical Vapor Deposition (EB-PVD) technique. Then Ag nanoparticles synthesized by laser-pulsed ablation were sprayed on the films. In order to form a homogenous coated of SnO2 on the glass surface, it was thermally treated at 500°C for 1 h. At this stage, the combined layer on the substrate was completely dried for 8 h in the air...

مطالعه ساختاری لایه های نازک PZT/YBCO به وسیله XRD و AES

Thin films of superconductor YBaCuO(YBCO) and Pb(ZrTi)O(PZT) is grown by laser ablation technique to make an electronic device. The quality and the structure of the films is studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES). A quantitative analysis of the films is also deduced from AES study. Analysis of the films show that the YBCO is grown in (001) and PZT in (10...

Structural and morphological characterization of ternary nanocrystalline Cu-In-S thin films prepared by laser ablation

Thin nanocrystalline Cu-In-S films are prepared by pulsed laser ablation in vacuum with Nd:YAG laser operating at 1064 nm on Si (100) substrates. As a target, a CuInS2 quantum dots powder, synthesized by sonochemical template-free colloidal approach and pressed to form a pellet is used. The structure and morphology of the deposited films were studied employing Xray diffraction, scanning electro...
